About this plant: Wonderful addition to the garden. This large, spreading deciduous magnolia has ovate leaves and stunning bell-shaped flowers that open to 12cm across. The large petals are bright rosy-pink on the outside and shade to a lighter pink on the inside.
Planting Description: As with all magnolias, it prefers a moist, fertile and well-drained soil that is slightly acidic. A sunny aspect in a protected position is best. They also tolerate partial shade, and some protection from strong wind will enhance and prolong the flowering season
